EVER HEARD OF AN "ATTOSECOND"?

More about the above.

My first thought when reading this is I hope people don't start using them on public transportation. Especially airplanes.

It is starting to seem like the airlines don't what us to actually use their services.

Its only available in Japan but Hyundai is now offering 3-D TV. Yeah, you still have to wear special glasses.

Here's a peak at the 2009 Corvette. I owned a 1968 'vette at one point in my life. Its a guy thing. Bought it just after my "ex" and I had our first separation. Duh.

THE ADMINISTRATION'S "MAN OF THE YEAR"

More details

California wanted stricter smog laws and the EPA initially agreed. Until the Agency's director was called to the White House for a meeting. Then the whole idea was squashed. Congress is investigating and guess what? The Oval Office is invoking "Executive Privilege" and refusing to release any of the subpoenaed documents. Wonder what they are trying to hide? Your first two guesses don't count.

I don't think we need to worry about Iran and their nuclear program. Israel has the problem under control. And they've already dealt with this issue twice before. Just ask Syria and Iraq.

Its 3 AM. You're sawing logs when someone starts knocking on the wall. The wall of your bedroom. The wall inside your bedroom. Its the police alerting you to the fact that your door wasn't locked. I can see where that might be a bit disconcerting. At least it was the police but still...

Scavenger hunts can be fun. A mobile party that starts and finishes at one location. But sometimes the competition gets the better of the contestant's common sense.

Not only are Florida, Oregon, Washington and California worried about off-shore drilling but Alaska has concerns also.

"Texas Hold'em". Thats the name of a new program being instituted by the Texas DPS and the US Border Patrol wherein the driver's license of smugglers operating commercial vehicles will be revoked. Sounds good on paper but will it really be effective? I doubt these mules and coyotes are really concerned whether or not they can legally operate a semi. And the thousands of National Guard troops that have been providing supplemental patrols along our southern border are quietly being removed.

More evidence that some legal advisors inside and outside of the Administration voiced concern regarding the tactics and even the detentions at Gitmo were just brushed aside and/or ignored by the West-Wing War Criminals. Not surprising.

The Phoenix Mars Lander has found ice on the Martian surface. Kinda.

I have just read three different polls. One has Obama in the lead. The second had McCain as "King of the Hill". The third wasn't sure which way the trend was blowing. Yup, that pretty much sums up the situation. Of course each one was biased in as to their Red/Blue backing.

Teaching "creationism" wasn't bad enough. This Ohio high school teacher also decided that it was necessary to brand his pupils with crosses. He got the ax.

Do you buy your pet food at PetCo? Might want to rethink that.

We've always been told that breakfast was the most important meal of the day. And the heavier it is the more weight you might possibly lose.

Celebrity figure Martha Stewart is persona non gratis in the UK.

As always, thanks for stopping over. I'll have more later. Enjoy your weekend.
