The National Weather Service - Honolulu Office announced last week their predictions for the 2008 Central Pacific (140°w - 180°w) hurricane season (June 1st - November 30th). Normally we get 4-5 tropical storms that either originate or pass through. Looks like it is going to be slow this time around, only 2-3. Of course, all it takes is ONE to ruin your day.
