I have absolutely no problem with what this lady has said. It was a true statement of facts from her perspective and anyone who does have an issue with this probably doesn't understand the U.S. Constitution.

A: They both sit on the North American tectonic Plate.

Until last weeks temblor, I did not know that.  The northern half of Honshu Island, and all the islands to the north, from just south of Tokyo are part of the North American Plate.
