Where have all the flowers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the flowers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the flowers gone?
Girls have picked them every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
Where have all the young girls gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the young girls gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the young girls gone?
Taken husbands every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
Where have all the young men gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the young men gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the young men gone?
Gone for soldiers every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Gone to graveyards every one
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Covered with flowers every one
When will we ever learn?
When will we ever learn?

A decent way to express my opinion, before President Bush asks for 20,000 more troops for Iraq in today's speech.
THE HOTELS ARE PACKED
So why so few rental cars in the garage?
Single word:
GROUPS
I don't know what "groups" are staying at the various hotels but they are the type that don't pay for anything out-of-pocket. If the cost isn't being covered by their host, then they will not partake of it.
They don't go out to dinner. They don't indulge themselves in our nightlife. They're just plain cows. No independent thought, only a "herd" mentality.
Maybe the ones next week will be "high rollers".

Gas prices jumped 10-cents at the first of the year. The ethanol-85 tax-break expired at the stroke of midnight, that morning. All State of Hawai'i laws have a "sunset" clause of up to 5 years from enactment.I was relieved by Mary (#5) at 4:30am. I was home by 4:45am. 5 minutes later, while I was undressing, my phone rang. It was Mary. No one else had shown up. She had a 5:45am special to Ma'alaea and she needed me to come back out to cover the OGG reservation we had for 5:30am in north Kihei. She had her fingers crossed that someone would check in prior to our only other morning reservation, a 6:00am from The Grand to The Prince.
It wasn't a problem. She has done far more than that for me when I have had an abundance of runs and a shortage of cabs in the early morning hours. That wee bit extra gave me a halfway decent night on the meter.
