WE ARE EXPERIENCING...

TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES

Since 5:00 PM (my time) last night I have been trying to upload images for today's post. It is now approaching 8:00 AM and I am still getting a Google Notification that they are experiencing a Server error. Please try again in 30 seconds.

Has anyone else encountered this?

I am not quitting, and eventually I will add The Picture Gallery to today's post. Bear with me. Thanks.

Really thirsty? You might want to stay away from your water tap. Okay, so maybe you are one of those who only drink bottled water. Where did it come from? Most bottled water is just filtered municipal water, unless it is from France. France requires all spring water to be bottled at the source. Not a bad idea. Do you use tap water to cook, bathe, brush your teeth? May have a problem.

Both the History Channel and the National Geographic Channel have had shows on this past weekend exploring what the earth would be like if all humans were to suddenly disappear. Did anyone watch them? Basically, all evidence of human existance would be pretty much erased after 300 years. Only the Pyramids and the Great Wall of China would remain. After 25,000 years even those would be gone as another, inevitable, ice age covered the earth. When that finally recede, we wouldn't even be a footnote. Stick your hand in a bucket of water. Pull it out. The hole left in the water is the determination of how importmant you are and how much your presence (individually & collectively) will be missed.

Have to do some shopping tonight. The cupboards are bare. Hope that check shows up next week.
