ODD & ENDS

What an idyllic job this would be. Traveling the country to rate its top beaches. The entire eastern seaboard from Maine to Texas. The west coast from Washington to California. Alaska. Hawai'i. The Great Salt Lake in Utah. The Great Lakes. Think of how many beaches there are in our nation. One guy does do this and here is his latest list of the Top-10.

I haven't "wolf-whistled" in centuries. If this is the reaction it gets now-a-days, I just may take it up again.

Are you aware that the poorest 1% of our nation controls about 2/3rds of the recyclable aluminum cans? Thats just not fair. They don't have the expenses the rest of us must contend with, like food, housing and sanitation.

When life exists it can be found almost anywhere. Scientists have discovered a bio-mass one mile beneath the bottom of the ocean.

Every so often someone reports seeing a flash on the surface of the moon. Those that report it usually have their names filed in the Lunatic category. NASA recently released a report that says there have been over 100 documented "flashes" in the past 2½ years. No, not ETs but meteors.

On this day in 1934, the legendary Depression Era crime duo, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, were ambushed and killed by Texas Rangers in Bienville Parish, Louisiana.

Iceless ice skating rinks?
