This February we will have known each other for 10 years. I met her right after I started driving taxi. She was in her senior year of high school. It was one of those instant friendships that so rarely occur in a person's life. Last night she and her parents flew in from the Twin Cities for the specific purpose of visiting me. They are going to spend the rest of this weekend having fun in San Francisco.
Think about how special this loving act meant to me. The odds are that I will probably never see them again. The odds are against me being here next Christmas. Who could ask for a more loving gift that what these wonderful people have given me.
I love her with my total heart.

Cheers from Darwin... well actually Adelaide atm... I'm on the way to Canberra to spend Christmas with my Dad... He's nearly 87 and we lost Mum this year so ya never know mate.. ya might meet him. Take care eh.
