Mmm, The Chasers out and about.
We found it quite difficult to find any world news in the newspapers or TV while in the US unless it involved Americans in Iraq, Afghanistan etc. I was reading a newspaper and under the heading "World News" the only item was a report on floods in Mississippi.
We have friends in Portland, Oregon, who are very enlightened on world matters like yourself so you're not all like those people.
