It has been really hot and humid this weekend. The "Trades" have died off and the air is still. This is when those of us who live here truly know that we are in the tropics.
My two ceiling fans are "whirly-birding" like mad and my Vornado floor fan is on HIGH amnd aimed right at me. All I am doing is moving sticky air from one place to another.
Just typing raises a sweat.

We were in Darwin in October once just before the wet season and the humidity was terrible. We had a campervan and were lying naked on the bed at 2am and still sweating profusely. Singapore is another great place to lose weight but everything is AC there.
Ain't it amazing how different the weather is when the wind doesn't blow?
