I may have found the reason your sidebar stays at the bottom when viewed with intenet explorer.
In my latest post (I wasn't in a very good mood to start with) I put lots of exlamation marks in the title bar, more than there are at present. My sidebar dropped down like yours and it left me puzzled as to what had happened. Eventually I retraced my steps and came to the conclusion that it was the exclamation marks that had caused it. After removing just enough of them to still emphasise my mood the side bar returned to the top. I think at some point in your blog you exceeded the space the title bar allows thus causing the sidebar to drop. It's worth a shot going through all your posts to see if any of the title bars have too many characters in them. I hope this helps.
