hey Wil - the pictures are so pretty! I just wanted to tell you that the flower known as "Bird of Paradise" is the typical flower of the Canary Islands off the NW coast of Africa (belonging to Spain) I went there some years ago and brought some seeds back with me to Mallorca, but never managed to produce anything. I'm a disaster area with plants.
