BETTER MAP
This one is easier to read and understand. Most, but not all, of the place names are correctly situated.
This gives you an idea of the island's topography.

REALLY BAD
Between 7:00pm and 11:00pm I had a total of 2 runs. Grand to OGG and Grand to Mulligans.
7 cabs sitting around doing nothing.
I had decided that it made no sense to keep everyone on duty and was getting ready to make an offer for 3 of the cabs to go home.
Then the phone rang.
It was the "airline concierge" at OGG wondering if I had any cabs available to assist them with a canceled America West flight. They had 130 people that needed to get to The Grand Wailea and Fairmont Kea Lani.
Uh, duh!
I sent all seven of us to OGG and we started moving the people out. The only other company called was La Bella Taxi in Kahului. They had 2 cabs available.
Those nine cabs moved the entire group in under 2 1/2 hours. We just did "round robins" until everyone was accommodated. This really improved my driver's income for the night.
During our absence from south Mau'i, I only had three calls from the "Triangle". That's really slow for a Saturday night.

WEATHER
It didn't rain yesterday or last night.
Actually saw some stars in the moonless night sky.
What a relief. Nice way to end my week.

Wild when out of the blue something like that happens. A cabbies fortune is often made on the misfortune of others.
