THE GRAVEYARD SHIFT

SAVED MY ASS!

  • 7:00 pm - midnight = 2 runs (24% of meter)
  • Midnight - 2:00 am = 2 runs (27% of meter)
  • 2:00 am - 4:30 am = 5 runs (49% of meter)

I did NOT meter $100. Close, but no cigar.
We'll just leave it at that.

The LUXOR, in Las Vegas, has a new show called Fantasy. To promote the show online they have a free slot machine. To play, you must have:
Minimum 1024X768 Resolution
Flash 8 Plugin (Download Here)
Broadband Connection

Don't forget to check the little box that says you are 18. You get 50 "pulls" and if you get the right combinations, you also get a brief show. No nudity in the game and I have seen skimpier costumes on the beaches. So I don't think anyone should be offended.

Good Luck!!

Star Trek vs. Star Wars (7:04)
Nicely done and I won't squabble over the continuity errors. See if you can spot them.

TROOPS (10:11)
In the first half, note the strong Minnesota accent of the lead "Trooper"

THE LAST 90 SECONDS

OF CAMELOT

"Let's all be careful out there!"

WHAT AN EXCITING DAY

NOT!

Woke up. Did my weekly load of laundry. Surfed the web. Took Judy to dinner (Outback Steakhouse). Watched TV at her place. Came home.

Now I am doing my "Seinfeld" impression of a blog. A blog about nothing.

HEROES is getting very interesting as we approach the end of the February "sweeps" (TV rating period). They'll leave us with a cliffhanger until the May "sweeps". Nobody else seems to comment about this show, but its viewership has dramatically increased since its debut this past Fall. It even won some Golden Globes. Not bad.

Bear decided that my "Santa" hat was his latest toy. Nice and furry. When he vanquished this enemy, he peed on it. I'll need to buy a new one next winter. Sigh.

Next Monday, if everything follows plan, I'll be assisting Judy in the purchase of a car. Hers recently gave up the ghost and she really misses having the independence to go and come at her own volition. When I am working, I will give her rides in the cab. Oh, I do log the trips and the boss is paid but I don't charge her. Its just one of those things that friends do for friends.

I have my fingers crossed that I have a decent week at work. Last week almost caught me up and a repeat would bring me even.

Today is "Fat Tuesday" (Mardi Gras). So tomorrow is Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent. Easter will be on April 8th this year.
